How is the LED lamp used and what happens during light bleaching?
To gently remove tooth discoloration at home, a gel is applied to a tray, which is then exposed to blue LED light for half an hour. The light has the ability to activate the active ingredients in the gel and accelerate the whitening process. The LED light used by OnlySmile has a wavelength of 460 to 465 nanometers, is developed in Germany, and cannot cause any harm in the oral cavity.
The LED lamp is powered by a lithium battery and lasts for at least one use. This allows you to move freely while using it. You can watch TV, read, or fold laundry at the same time.
The lights that illuminate on the front indicate the current battery level. If only 1 or 2 lights are displayed, we recommend charging the lamp before use. The charging time is approximately 1 hour.
By the way: The bright LED light does not blind you during use. It illuminates your teeth and should not further affect you. If the light bothers you, check in the mirror if the mouthpiece is positioned correctly.
