How to properly use the OnlySmile HomeSet

Congratulations and thank you for purchasing our OnlySmile HomeSets. Below you will learn how to use the OnlySmile HomeSet and also receive some useful tips for optimal results.

The correct application

First, we recommend that you charge the OnlySmile Professional Lamp for about 25 minutes. This prevents you from having to interrupt your application in between. After that, you can attach the lamp to the included mouth tray using the flexible click system. If you hear the click sound, the tray is locked in place and securely attached.

Now you can distribute about 4 ml of the OnlySmile teeth whitening gel on the upper and lower sides of the mouth tray. It is best to ensure a fairly even distribution for optimal results. Once you are done, you can insert the mouth tray and press the button to start the lamp. One application lasts 30 minutes, after which the lamp will turn off automatically. Once the lamp is no longer lit, the application is complete and you can remove the tray and lamp from your mouth.

Should you use the OnlySmile Home Set for the first time, we recommend two consecutive applications. It is important to renew the gel between applications. A two-time application at the beginning ensures the whitest teeth.

At OnlySmile, we strive to make our products as flexible and comfortable as possible. If it happens that the teeth do not fit optimally on the mouthguard, we recommend evenly distributing the OnlySmile teeth whitening gel on both the guard and the teeth. If a lot of saliva accumulates during the application, you can briefly remove the lamp along with the guard and spit it out. Then, reinsert the lamp and continue the application.

For optimal results, we also recommend switching to a "white diet" in conjunction with the OnlySmile teeth whitening powder, meaning to avoid colored foods or drinks such as tea, coffee, or red wine as much as possible. Alternatively, it is advisable to drink such beverages with a straw, as this poses less risk to your results. With the OnlySmile teeth whitening powder, your teeth will be free of plaque after 2 weeks of use, which can further enhance the whitening results of the OnlySmile HomeSets. This way, they will remain sustainably and long-lasting white.

How to care for the OnlySmile Professional Lamp

The included lamp from OnlySmile is an essential part of the OnlySmile HomeSets and should therefore be handled with care. This includes, among other things, charging the lamp only with the provided charger.

Furthermore, it is important to only clean the mouthguard with warm water after use. The OnlySmile Professional Lamp is not suitable for cleaning with water or cleaning agents. Instead, we recommend using a dry cloth for cleaning.
