For at-home teeth whitening, you need not only the mouthguard and the LED lamp but also the active ingredient-containing teeth whitening gel. OnlySmile's teeth whitening kit includes a full-size tube of gel.
This tube contains 40 milliliters and lasts for a maximum of 10 applications. Normally, you will need about 4 milliliters per application. However, this value may vary if you
- Do you only want to whiten individual teeth or
- Your teeth are crooked or have larger gaps.
Then you will use either less or more gel per treatment.
When applying, the OnlySmile teeth whitening gel is applied to the mouth tray. When inserting the tray, make sure that the gel reaches every one of your teeth and that no spots remain dry. A mirror can be a great help. Then, you place the LED lamp on and turn it on. After a 30-minute application, you rinse your mouth and can admire your results. Your natural tooth whiteness is gently restored.
