Zähne aufhellen zu Hause: die Durchführung

Whitening teeth at home: The procedure

In the last article, we already discussed the preparation for teeth whitening at home. Today, we will focus on the application, before the three-part series concludes with aftercare in the next post.

When you continue reading, you will learn which utensils you need for teeth whitening and how to use them. The OnlySmile starter kit serves as an example for us.

What do I need for effective teeth whitening at home?

For home use of OnlySmile, you don't need much. With the following products, you already have everything you need:

  • 1 x OnlySmile® Mouthguard
  • 1 x LED lamp OnlySmile® Active Pro including charging cable
  • 1 x OnlySmile® Teeth Whitening Gel

In our starter set, everything is already included, and you will receive a user manual with explanations. It is perfect for beginners who have no experience with teeth whitening. The included teeth whitening gel is sufficient for up to 10 applications. After that, you can simply order a new tube.

It is also useful to have a mirror so that you can check by yourself during the application that the splint is positioned correctly.

How do I use the at-home teeth whitening products?

The home application may seem daunting at first, but in the end, it's totally easy.

In the first step, you apply the teeth whitening gel to the mouth tray. Then, the tray is inserted and the blue LED light is turned on. The gel now works independently on your teeth, and you have your hands free to take care of other things at the same time.

After just 30 minutes, you can rinse your mouth and evaluate your results.
